Safeguarding

Keeping children safe and protected from harm is of the greatest importance to the nursery.  Children and families have the right to expect the nursery to place each child’s welfare at the forefront of everything we do.  All staff are required to take safeguarding training which is updated every three years.  The manager and deputy manger take additional training giving them the depth of knowledge to enable them to support staff.  In addition to this, we provide in-house safeguarding training for staff, making it a priority that everyone has a secure knowledge and understanding of our safeguarding policy and procedures.

Please see our safeguarding policy which is best used in conjunction with other policies including Staffing and Employment, Health and Safety, Intimate Care and Whistle-blowing.
