Training / Staff Development

Beehive Day Nursery believes that the staff team is its most valuable asset and we therefore invest in ongoing staff training and development.

Our staff have a range of qualifications, from level 2 NVQ to post-graduate qualifications.  Highly qualified and experienced staff have a wealth of knowledge to share with the less experienced members of the team and we implement this at staff meetings and in-house training.

All staff have training in Safeguarding Children, First Aid and Food Safety, all of which are updated every three years.

In addition, we use the training programme provided by Suffolk County Council to ensure staff are kept up-to-date with best practice.
